What is so special about your Bible? The first picture is of the oldest Bible I have, it is RVS and I got it in 1973 when I became a member of the Methodist church. The First Bible I ever read through is a Giant print mauve NKJV I bought after I redidicated my life in 1993. The giant print is great!

I have both of my grandmother's Bibles. In Jan. 1995, my grandma Chona died unexpectedally. That previous Dec. grandma had given me grandpa's Bible. Then she called after Christmas telling me that the Bible should have gone to my cousin Joanie, because she had given me the Bible. Of course I gave it to her because I knew what it meant to her. So a couple after days grandma died, my cousin Joanie and my Aunt gave me my granmother's Bible.
Turns out I had given her the Bible back in 1978. When I went to visit my Grandma Louisa and told her about the Bible, she said if I wanted hers too, but that it was a Catholic Bible in Spanish. Of course I wanted it! Both my grandmothers were very special to me and I am blessed to have thier Bibles.
This is the Bible we got when we were married which will be 30 years on August 10.
