ood Friday--a day whose Mass is not celebrated by the Roman Catholic Church...a day that "sees" the path of del la Rosa embrace the hearts of holy patrons...a day that witness the solemn throng at the Holy Sepulchre --this day heard the echo of Mr. Bush's call for a "crusade."

Yet...

For The Love Of Peace

The "Solemn Friday"...this day of March 29, 2002, "witnesses" the inflamed conflict between the brother Arab...the brother Jew. The Israeli government marches against the compound of Yassar Arafat and the Palestinian government. Tanks, marshaling arms and men devastates the surrounding buildings; was Mr. Arafat confined, meanwhile, to a basement room without windows. Mr. Arafat's personal armed guards, did make an attempt to hold off the inevitable.

After the havoc, Mr. Sharon pledges a continual campaign against the Palestinian Arab, the first brother's seed. As for Mr. Bush, who encourages "restraint" on the part of Israel, are he and Mr. Powell clear upon where to lie blame for this escalation of violence--upon Mr. Arafat, squarely, and the Palestinian people.

Thus, closes the day...in the regions of Jerusalem and Israel and Palestine is there a high level of anxiety...uncertainty; in Crawford Texas, Mr. Bush "retires" to a holiday weekend. And the "spirit" of Good Friday--the spirit that ensured the success of the "Oslo Peace Accord"--could only feel the humility of the hour..."eyes" wide with disbelief.
