I live with my brother and his girlfriend, two dogs, two hermit crabs and one bloody noisy parakeet. Currently I am studying nursing at the University of Wollongong. I just completed my first year. I work four nights a week at a local nursing home as an Assistant In Nursing. basically a professional bum-wiper. I am studying nursing in order for me to travel and work around the world at ease.
My interests include reading usually non-fiction of such subjects as theology, philosophy, psychology, linguistics, modern history, and now that I have started nursing I find that I am enjoying reading pysiology. Oh, yeah, I am a huge nerd but proud of it.
I love to write, particularly short stories. I have started three novel-length stories. At the same time, no less. So that is a very slow progression, considering that I am also studying and working full time. I'm 24, so I feel that I am too immature to start such a bold endevour. Especially three :). So, I mainly focus on writing short stories and plot development for the big ones.
I do not watch television, however, a friend from work has lent me his Star Trek dvds that he is collecting. So, I have watched The Next Generation and have just completed watching DS9. I also enjoy Red Dwarf. I love to go rowing in the evenings, and usually go three times a week when the wind is calm.
I love clever puns, witticisms and spoonerisms.
