Newmorphy - One of the original Pyrops and a big supporter of the Pyramid. He is also a "founder" of the HCC (Honor Chess Club). ed_the_vet - An original Pyrop and a behind the scenes guy, infrequently seen in chess but always helping out with Pyamid administration and financial aspects of the Pyramid. turfviking - The goofiest of them all but the nicest to me. Another original Pyrop who handles Pyramid administration. His pet peeve is spelling, grammar, and punctuation or, lack thereof. His chess prowess earned him the nickname gm_siddis. sssladder - The Pyrop who started the Pyramid tournaments although he hasn't been around much lately. hesca01 - The newest Pyrop and a good all-around guy. tgg2000 - Another original who was a Pyrop for the first year of the Pyramid and disappeared without a trace. suziss - The problem solving Pyrop who treated all members kindly and helped the Pyramid to succeed in the early days. Some private scandal had her voted from the Pyramid team. Lauwass - An ever present force on the Pyramid although not a Pyrop anymore. Sources tell me he had the shortest Pyrop tenure. I like this guy a lot as he gave me the great phrase "eh?" Helped me greatly with the page, and all this is thanks to him, I just provided the material. Do_Jazz_2 - A 1/0 player that had a short stay on the Pyrop team because of some disagreements over policy. A witty lad who makes appearances in the Caption Contest quite frequently. |
