Artist: Finger Eleven

Album: The Greyest of Blue Skies

Label: Wind-Up

The Review: I predict that you will be hearing A LOT from this band very soon!  Don't say I didn't call it because in a few months they will be just about everywhere on every radio station.  Why you may ask?  This CD is a great mix of dark emotion-driven songs which are rather popular now a days.  Very much along the lines of Tool, Staind, and Disturbed this band keeps true to the title of this new CD with songs from the deepest darkest park of the song writer's emotions.  The vocalist for the band has a melodic style which is rather catchy and is accompanied nicely by a dark grindy background on almost every song. Most of the songs are at a medium pace keeping  your head banging in some spots and relaxing  you in others.   So if you are in a sensative or a pissed off mood, this disc is definatly for you!  Once again, don't say I didn't call this one!

Artist: Kid Rock

Album: The History of Rock

Label: Atlantic

The Review: You know what...call me goofy but I like this guy's style.  Looking aside the stripper-dating, midget-loving, Jim Beam-drinking, trailor park-living, hardcore-pimping image, "The Kid"  has a style that only he can deliver.  Granted, his music can be overally unoriginal and overplayed at times.  Still he has put in his time to the rock scene and regardless of anything  can put on a damn good show.  Now that hes on top of the rock scene he feels a need to get in touch with his roots.  Thats what he does with this new CD selecting several of his older tracks from the past and mixing them up with some new tracks including the already overplayed "American Bad-Ass".  Is this a lame way to make money?  Well...yeah...but either way this CD should provide for a few hours of listening enjoyment for fans of "The Kid".  Now excuse me while I go pimp my bitches out...(sorry couldn't resist!)

Recommended Radio Friendly Tracks: small suggestion...buy the radio edit, otherwise this disc is useless for radio play...

Artist: Stuck Mojo

Album: Declaration of a Headhunter

Label: Century Media

The Review: This CD provides nothing more than 100% anger driven, brutal, hard-hitting, vicious, hardcore, anti-political  attitude!  With songs like "Hatebreed" ("This hate makes me a better man, my hate helps me take a stand") and "Give War a Chance" what else would you expect?  This band keeps getting tighter as time goes on and this CD shows their great mix of guitar styles and vocals.  This CD is for fans of up tempo rap-core and grindy metal core.  Several of the tracks are annoying speaches dealing with politics however thereare only 4 of them on the disc.  So pop this one for some good old fashioned metal with attitude action!
