Night Creams Benefits Skin

Beauty Tips | Leave a Comment

Going to bed with night cream on your face can benefit your skin in many ways while you are sleeping. Night creams contain special ingredients like vitamins and anti-aging components. In fact, these creams can also be thicker and more intensive than ordinary daily moisturizer because you don’t need to apply makeup on the top of them.

How Night cream benefits your skin?

The cell renewal of skin is more active in the night and night creams are designed in such a way to make the most of these hours. Using a night cream daily gives your skin the chance to repair the damage caused by makeup, air pollution and ultra-violet sun rays.

Night creams are particularly beneficial for dry and very dry skin type when used daily. Choose the formulation carefully on the basis of how dry your skin is – it is important that your skin should not feel overloaded.

Applying Night Cream

Dab a little night cream in your palm and then gently rub your both hands together. This way the cream is more easily absorbed.

Applying night cream before going to bed means waking up softer, smoother complexion. Skin’s performance can boost if night cream is applied to slightly damp skin as it seals in extra moisture.

Miraculous Face Masks

If there is one skincare item that can work miracles, it is a face mask. But, like any other skincare product, you should choose carefully to pick the right facial mask for you.

Mask It!

Choose from the wonderful selection of face masks on the market to find one that is perfect for your skin.

Moisturizing Face Masks

These are ideal for dry complexions because they boost the moisture levels of your skin. This means they can help banish dry parches, flakiness and even fine lines. They work quickly like an intensive moisturizer and are usually left on the skin for 5-10 minutes before being removed with a tissue. The slight residue left on your skin will continue to work until you next cleanse your skin. They are a soothing treat, particularly after too much sun, or when your skin feels “tight”.

Clay and mud Face Masks

Ideal for oily skins, they absorb excess grease and impurities. They are an ideal way to close open pores, reduce shine and clear troublesome blemishes. They dry on your skin over a period of 5-15 minute and then you simply wash them away with warm water, rinsing dead skin cells, dirt and grime away at the same time. They are a fantastic pick-me-up for skin.

Exfoliating Facial Masks

Masks with a light exfoliating action can keep your skin in tip-top condition. Even normal skins sometimes suffer from the build-up of dead skin cells, which can create a dull look and lead to future problems such as blackheads. Masks that cleanse and exfoliate are the perfect solution. They smooth on like a clay mask, and are left to dry. When you rinse them away, their tiny abrasive particles slough away the skin’s surface debris.

Peel-off Face Packs

Ideal for all skin types, the mask is smoothed on, left to dry and peeled off. This light formulation refreshes oily areas, clears clogged pores and nourishes drier skins.

Gel Face Masks

These are suitable for sensitive skins, as well as oily complexions, as they have a wonderfully soothing and cooling effect.

Skin Care Tips - Natural Skin Care Product and best skin care treatment

Do you have a soft, smooth, clear, attractive and glowing facial skin? If so, your are blessed with something. Your are the fortunate one. But, mind you, the beauty of your skin will not last long. With advancing age, there is no guarantee that you will maintain that fresh youthful look, you must care for your skin to maintain its health and prevent future damage from the sun and other natural elements that can be so harsh on such a delicate part of our body.

Eczema

The word 'eczema' comes from Greek words that mean 'to boil over'. 'Dermatitis' comes from the Greek word for skin and both terms refer to exactly the same skin condition. Eczema may also be referred to as 'atopic eczema' when it is caused by allergies. It is generally pronounced eckzema, eczema or exsama.

Eczema is a fairly common condition. Statistics on eczema indicate that eczema affects more than 15 million Americans and ten percent of all children. Strangely enough, the condition appears to be getting more common. Some hypothesize that it may have to do with our increasing exposure to chemicals as well as other allergens.

Eczema is an itchy inflammation of the skin associated to a varying degree with other features such as:

redness of affected areas of skin

generally dry skin, which is often thickened in the areas that have been scratched

lumps or blisters in affected areas

signs of superficial infection such as weeping or crusty deposits.

Caring for normal, dry skin type, oily skin type, combination skin type, sensitive skin type

Knowing your skin type

Facial Skin is of three types - Normal, Dry and Oily skin type. First of all it is important to understand that the great variety of skin types among us will limit science from accommodating every skin type with its own category. The type of skin you have depends on the activity of the subaceous, or oil producing glands.

The following results generally indicate your skin type as:

Normal Skin Type - If upon observation in the mirror there are no prominent areas of shine, your skin feels comfortable and there is no residue on the tissue.

Combination Skin Type - If upon observation in the mirror there are prominent areas of shine on your forehead, nose, and chin AND the tissue test also reveals residue for those areas but cheeks are normal.

Oily Skin Type - If upon observation in the mirror your entire face appears shiny and the tissue test reveals residue in all four zones.

Dry Skin Type - If upon observation in the mirror there are no areas of shine AND further to this, you can see and feel the presence of tight skin, possibly flaky skin AND there is not a trace of residue on the tissue.

Skin and Body Care In Winters - Winter Skin Care

Changes in weather conditions in winters and summers can be hard on the skin. The dry and cold air in winter can drain essential moisture from the skin, making it look capped and dry. Follow these tips to maintain your skin healthy in winters.

Skin Care Tips in Winters

Use SPF sunscreen on face, neck and all visible parts of body when going out during winters.

Do not take excessive long and hot showers as this will deplete the natural skin moisturizer.

Keep your skin nourish by using good quality cleansing cream and moisturizer and wear warm clothes that does not create any itching sensation on the skin.

An ancient Chinese herbal remedy for detoxification during winter is drinking a glass of hot water with lemon. This cleanses the liver and gall bladder and the body cleans blood faster, thus toxins responsible for bad skin are eliminated.

Drink adequate water, say 12 glasses a day.

Take proper sleep.
