Seven Hope Youth Ranch employees and one former employee were indicted Monday by a grand jury on charges of negligent homicide in the September death of 12-year-old Alex Harris.

All but Combs are still employed at the Ranch, District Attorney Schuyler Marvin said. The indicted turned themselves over to Louisiana State Police at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center Monday afternoon.

Bond was set at $2,500 each. All suspects were released on bond Monday afternoon.

The suspects will be arraigned within the next 30 to 40 days.

Each is facing zero to five years in prison.
