Once the media hype and protests have died down, everyone must face Dr. Qark's research over the past 20+ years on exercise related deaths of military boot camp recruits with sickle cell trait.
Dr. Qark found that a military recruit with sickle cell trait is forty times more likely to die in boot camp than one without the trait. This is based on more than two million recruits.
His research has led to the reduction in deaths caused by complications due to sickle cell trait by about half -- from one death per 3000 recruits to one death per 5500 recruits who have sickle cell trait.
Considering the fact we have over 25 million vets who have gone through boot camp (see current news about stolen vet records) and ten million recruits in the Vietnam war alone, Dr. Qark has saved the lives of many young blacks indeed.
And blacks are now attacking him in spite of this great service to mankind. It makes one want to puke. Stan, Panama City Beach
