Farah the Persian Princess

STATUS: Face. Tag team partners with Paradise.

WRESTLING: Not only does Farah never win matches, she doesn't even wrestle that much. Like all of the ethnic jobbers, she has a very basic and limited moveset (I'll exclude Jade from that classification, since she does have some moves.)

CHARACTER: Well, apparently she's the Persian Princess, huh? She has never been on the mic. The WOW board informs us that "She uses her almost hypnotic belly dancing undulations to catch foes off guard, leaving them spellbound." Let us all hope this angle never plays itself out on the show.

LOOKS: She doesn't do much at all for me.

COMMENTS: It's not really Farah's fault, but, she is generating about as much heat as Tammy Faye Bakker at a Playmates convention. I really have to question why so many ethnic jobbers are needed in WOW. Are they trying to draw an international audience? If so, are they aware that WOW is extremely unlikely ever to be broadcast in Iran? Is this wrestling, or the "It's a Small World" ride at Disneyland? Must we really have every nationality represented? Maybe they should just have the jobbers be gimmickless, like in every other wrestling federation. Might cut down the overall cheese quotient quite a bit.

3/4/01 (show #22):
- Farah and Paradise beat the Asian Invasion with the most electrifying move in sports entertainment, the fearsome DOUBLE LEGSWEEP. Since Farah is getting over so massively, McLane informed us that Farah's sister may be joining WOW soon. You know, sometimes I really wonder what is being smoked at the WOW offices.
