Sits on her porch,
Posted by Amy on 3/13/2001, 10:22 pm
Watching the streets with unfocused eyes. She has her large navy blue trenchcoat
on, and slightly flared jeans. She has a plain blue T-shirt on underneath, and running
shoes on her feet.
She doesn't look happy or sad, more like she's thinking...
(OOC: Her house is near the college Genesis works at... she works there too... just
picture me 20 years from now... *gg* Living in New York... bah... hope not. I dun't
want to live over there... eh... blabbing... *winces and gags herself*)

Hauling some luggage and clutching a piece of paper. She stops to look at the address
on the house in front of her. She has dark brown hair that's rather wild. Glasses
are perched on her nose. The luggage she's hauling is rather strange. One of the
bags slung over her shoulder is thin at the top and wide near the base. The blue
gryphon head embrodered on the strangely shaped bag is somewhat familliar.
Her eyes focus,
Posted by Amy on 3/13/2001, 10:39 pm
and she blinks. A blue gryphon? Odd... Deja vous big time. She looks at the little
briefcase beside her and wonders why on earth she was suddenly thinking about Pega.
Had to have some connection to the little fuzz ball.
Posted by The woman on 3/13/2001, 10:44 pm
She sighs and looks again at the addy on the building and then on the paper. There's
more then a passing resemblance to the fuzzy blue Gryphon and the lady's hair. She
blinks and shakes her head looking lost, annoyed, and a little paranoid. She looks
at the women on the step for a moment as if trying to decide if she's dangerous.
Finally she steps towards her and asks,"Excuse me, do you know where this adress
his?" She shows Amy the piece of paper.
Posted by Amy on 3/13/2001, 10:48 pm
For a few seconds she stares at the gryphon, blinking. She realizes the other is
speaking and looks a bit sheepish, "I'm sorry... let me see..." she peers
at the paper for a few moments...
Posted by The Woman on 3/13/2001, 10:49 pm
She almost smiles. She's used to people staring at it. So few knew what it was.
"I thought it was around here.. But I guess I was wrong."
She looks at it again,
Posted by Amy on 3/13/2001, 10:54 pm
"Don't go yet, I... hold on."
She opens the little briefcase full of drawings, old and new, pawed horses and winged
unicorns most often. The winged unicorn is always the same colors. She takes out
one and peers at it for a moment. Pega's huge fetlocks and spiraling rainbowhorn
atop her golden star crowned forehead is unmistakable. Amy has the same crystal blue
eyes. She looks at the other and blinks a few times, the drawing in full veiw of
the other. Amy just blinks, surprised.
Posted by The Woman on 3/13/2001, 10:58 pm
She also blinks, talk about a flash from the past.
Opens her mouth to speak,
Posted by Amy on 3/13/2001, 11:04 pm
but instead giggles lightly, gradually building her straight face into her big, 'ear-to-ear'
grin.
Posted by The Woman on 3/13/2001, 11:06 pm
Wonders what's so funny and raises an eyebrow. She knows it can't be seen behind
her long bangs. She tilts her head inquizitivly.
Covers her mouth
Posted by Amy on 3/13/2001, 11:12 pm
trying to stop her fit of giggles. She finally stops, "Sorry... I just..."
she still isn't quite sure what to say, so she almost turns to get Carin and see
if it was any easier for her. She stops, realizing Carin had left for the day, then
looks up, "Er.... hello?" she starts to giggle again.
Posted by The Woman on 3/13/2001, 11:15 pm
She blinks and stands quietly, peering at Amy somewhat worriedly, not quite sure
what she should do.
She stops laughing,
Posted by Amy on 3/13/2001, 11:19 pm
holding out a long fingered hand, "If you shake I might be a bit less like the
girl everyone stares at." and she smirks slightly.
Posted by The Woman on 3/13/2001, 11:21 pm
Blinks at her once and then holds out her hand and shakes. "I think I missed
something." She says under her breath.
laughs to herself,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 8:39 pm
"Meeting old accuaintances tends to get me high strung... You just missed Carin...
er, Unyko... she went off somewhere, not sure where..."
She realizes she probably makes no sense, so she looks even more embarrassed.
Posted by The Woman on 3/14/2001, 8:41 pm
"I did? That makes you Pega, Right?"
Nods, smling.
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 8:44 pm
"Though around here I tend to be called Amy." and she grins, "Should
I just stick to calling you a... fluff ball?" and she giggles.
Posted by The Woman on 3/14/2001, 8:47 pm
She grins.
"You could, or you could call me Sarah."
She smiles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 8:51 pm
"Sarah, then. You have anywhere to go? I'm sure there's room..."
A calico cat pokes it's head through the curtians of the front window, dissapearing
when a dog barks in the back yard.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 8:55 pm
"Well, I was looking for my Billet's home.." She looks somewhat embaressed
at this.
Raises a brow,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 8:57 pm
"Billet?"
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:00 pm
"Yeah. The Coach here said that I could stay there while I'm here."
"Ah...
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:06 pm
coach of what, exactly?"
Of course her being a Volleyball coach at the College might help her help Sarah find
the place.
Posted by Chirpy ooc on 3/14/2001, 9:08 pm
She grins,"Take a guess."
Thinks,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:13 pm
"Seems to me you were involved in... Fencing?" And she cocks a brow, not
knowing how she remembered that.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:14 pm
"Yep." She's still smiling.
"Then...
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:20 pm
eh, gawsh, I didn't know we had a fencing coach... The school's shut right
now... tomorrow I could take you to the sports center... Volleyball's over, but...
should be fine for me to go..."
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:22 pm
"Um, sure." She looks at her piece of paper and sighs.
Walks down a street...
Posted by A woman on 3/14/2001, 9:21 pm
near Amy's appartment, looking very lost.
The irregular reddish highlights in her long brown ponytail glint when she walks
into the right light angle. The person's skin is rather pale, causing her odd gold-hazel-green
eyes to stand out behind a pair of small bifocal glasses. She's tall and rather thin
beneath her casual baggy clothing. A digital video camera hangs from her right wrist.
"This just isn't good..."
She looks over Sarah's shoulder
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:25 pm
and giggles slightly, "Hey, um... Sarah, it appears someone else's lost."
And she waves at the woman, "Need help?"
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:27 pm
A greatful smile comes over her face and she trots over, glancing over her shoulder
for any sign of those bright eyes.
"Um, yea, that would be nice. You wouldn't happen to know of a good hotel around
here, would you? I'm pretty sure I'm totally lost." She smiles wryly, then quirks
a brow at the sight of the drawings, and the blue griffin head.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:26 pm
Almost laughs as she turns around to see what Peg-Amy was looking at. "Well,
at least I'm not the only one." She says cheerfully. (Or maybe chirpily?)
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:28 pm
She smiles and waves.
"Hello." She looks curiously at the blue griffin head. "You're not
from around here either?"
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:29 pm
Wonders about the either.
"Not exactly."
Smiles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:33 pm
Answers the hotel question. "Not exactly, most of them are abandoned... I could
perhaps squeeze another visitor in, but Uny... erm, Carin and Sarah might decide
to overrun my house." and she giggles, letting Sarah know she's kidding.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:35 pm
"Of course I will." She doesn't sound like she's kidding, but if you look
at her close enough your could spot the laughing light in her eyes.
Giggles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:39 pm
"Don't let the cats know that... they think they own the place."
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:35 pm
Her laugh is a bit nervous, staying in the home of someone she doesn't know.
She continues to peer at the unicorn, convinced that she's seen it somewhere.
"Excuse me, but is that off a movie or something?" She guestures toward
the griffin head.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:37 pm
"Nope, it's my mascot."
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:38 pm
She blushes slightly as she realizes her art is out in the open and tries to close
the briefcase. the papers slide and make it impossible to do so, "Shoot..."
she stands up, sighing and glaring down at her book, muttering something about not
wanting to ruin her new sketch of Pega.
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:39 pm
"Mascot for what?"
She's still wracking her brains to figure out why it's so familliar.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:43 pm
"Fencing."
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:39 pm
She looks at Amy. "Woah woah woah... wait a sec. Pega?"
Then turns to Sarah. "You fence?!? Cool! I didn't think... Woah... dejavu."
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:47 pm
Agrees with the DejaVu comment. "Same!"
Blinks,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:42 pm
"Yeah, Pega... "
She cocks a brow at the sketch, now wondering why Pega looks like she understands
everything when she didn't know what on earth was going on.
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:44 pm
"You dont know anything about a site called the orchard, do you?
Freezes,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:45 pm
"The uh... what?" her eyes are huge.
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:48 pm
"Er... never mind..."
She blushes slightly, thinking that she's wrong and looks at Sarah.
"Do I know you?"
She looks really perplexed.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:52 pm
"I don't know. If you recognise Sirah here, you might." She gestures to
the little fuzzy blue Gryphon head on her fencing bag.
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:54 pm
Her eyes get even bigger.
"Sirah? Are you serious?"
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 9:55 pm
Nods. "Yep." She pratically chirps.
Runs over,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:50 pm
and shakes her head,"Dude... no, really, did you say The Orchard?"
her eyes match that of Pega's, a crystal light blue...
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:51 pm
Nods slowly, cheeks very red.
"Yea. It's this message board..."
She looks up, confused.
Grins widely,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 9:55 pm
"I know, silly!" she hugs the other woman, seemingly for no reason, then
backs away, looking very sheepish, "Sorry, two reuinions in one night gets me
a bit... well.. hyper."
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:58 pm
"Really? Awesome!"
Huuuge grin.
Posted by The woman on 3/14/2001, 9:59 pm
She suddenly blushes.
"Forgot to introduce myself! Megan! Formerly known as Megwings?"
She grins hugely, gaining her own case of the hypers.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:01 pm
"I'm Sarah. I'm told Unyko is around here someplace.." She's grinning.
Posted by Megan on 3/14/2001, 10:03 pm
"You're serious? Dude!" That last phrase never quite left her.
"This is so weird!"
Her face looks like it's gonna split open from grinning so much.
Giggles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:05 pm
"I guess that makes two... or four of us." and she watches for Carin to
come home, "You see, Unyko came up for a job offering... My house isn't too
big, but we could manage. The cats could live in the garage, if you prefered."
and she giggles, not used to speaking so formally.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:09 pm
Almost laughs. She was catching a chase of hyperness and that was never good amoung
society. Then she remembered that these were fellow Orcharders... She felt like pouncing
some-body, but she doubted they'd appricate it..
Nods slightly,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:13 pm
"Nothing with me's quite right without contact with her... probably why I ended
up in New York, but she's off getting a job."
OF course she has the urge to pounce too, who wouldn't?
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:17 pm
"Oh, what's Uny do?"
Posted by Megan on 3/14/2001
Leaves to go get her stuff from the airport promising that she'll be back.
(^--I didn't catch that post before it fell off the board, so the wordings not exact.
There was a good deal of speech as well.)
Amy smiles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:18 pm
"And I had to -pick- Carin up."
She looks at Sarah, "If you would make yourself at home, Mi casa es su casa."
she giggles, "Uny-poo should be around soon." and she giggles, opening
the door to the little house. A black cat with pure blue eyes and little white paws
peers at Sarah for a moment, then bounds off in the direction of the bedrooms. "She
saves birds of prey." and she shrugs, "we never seem to be around at the
same time..."
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:22 pm
Peers into the house looking somewhat worried. "Oh, I'm sure that I will find
my Billet eventually..."
Shrugs,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:24 pm
"It's bigger than it looks... got a basement, y'know.
and she steps in, wandering to the kitchen, "Hungry?"
the collage of her friends includes drawings of online ones... a blue fluff ball
among the group.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:25 pm
She grins.
"Yeah kinda."
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:29 pm
"Got everything from Spagetti-O's to Mom's lasagna." She grins.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:30 pm
"Lasagna sounds good."
Smiles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:33 pm
"It's leftovers, so it won't be great, but... Mom gave me her recipie... the
greatest." and she grins, pulling the pan out of the refridgerator.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:34 pm
"Sounds good ta me."
Grins,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:38 pm
setting the heat on the oven, then realizes Sarah's stuff is still outside, "You
want me to get your baggage?"
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:41 pm
The fencing bag is still slung over her shoulder. She realizes that she left her
stuff outside and drops the bag on the floor with a loud thunk and pratically runs
out of the house. She shouts behind her, " Don't worry about it, I'll get it.."
Giggles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:44 pm
getting her sketches as well. She sets them on the coffee table by the phone and
puts the lasagna in the oven, setting the timer, then goes to the freezer to get
minute maid orange juice.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:46 pm
Comes back in hauling all her stuff. Relived that it hadn't been stolen or something.
Smiles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:50 pm
sitting down by the telephone, glancing at the computer, "It takes a while to
cook..."
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:53 pm
Eyes the computer. If she was lucky she wouldn't be without a computer for an entire
week.
Grins slightly,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 10:57 pm
"If you want, you could use it..."
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 10:59 pm
Grins sheepishly. "Thanks!"
Smiles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 11:00 pm
"No problem..."
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 11:04 pm
Grins again and starts it up. She begins to go through her net routine, checking
up on everything.
Looks at her watch
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 11:06 pm
"Wow.. it's pretty late. She should be home by now."
She looks expectantly out the window.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 11:10 pm
Grins.
She sits
Posted by Carin on 3/14/2001, 11:09 pm
in the guest room, drawing and humming quietly to herself.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 11:11 pm
Hears the humming and looks at Amy.
Finally gets up,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 11:10 pm
"Odd she's not home yet... then again, I never did ask if she was here."
she gestures for Sarah to continue and knocks politely on the door, "Carin?
We have... Orchard company."
Posted by Carin on 3/14/2001, 11:14 pm
She blinks and stops humming "Really? Just a sec!" she picks up her clipboard
and pencil and opens the door, smiling at Amy.
Grins and nods,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 11:15 pm
"Well, we have a blue fluff ball..." she gestures to Sarah, giggling, "and
Meggy's getting stuff at the airport..."
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 11:16 pm
Sticks out her tounge at Amy.
Giggles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 11:17 pm
and grins reaaaal big.
Posted by Sarah on 3/14/2001, 11:18 pm
Sticks out her tounge again.
Posted by Carin on 3/14/2001, 11:24 pm
She looks back and forth between the two, grinning. "Hmm, I always thought a
blue fluff ball would be..." looks at Sarah's hair "Oh, nevermind!"
giggles.
Giggles,
Posted by Amy on 3/14/2001, 11:26 pm
"Well, UnyCarin, no one said you wore blue and red everyday." *VBG*
Posted by Sarah on 3/16/2001, 4:59 pm
Looks up from her typing and sticks out her tounge at Uny. "It may be true,
but it's not nice."
Posted by Carin and Amy on 3/31/2001, 8:43 pm
Carin emereges from her room, still plaiting her ling hair and smiles slightly at
the sleeping Sara on the couch. She seats herself on a chair to finish.
Amy smiles, "Meg's still not back, but if you're hungry I can fix us some food..."
she sips her hot chocolate, grinning.
Posted by Sarah on 3/31/2001, 8:46 pm
Is curled up in a nest of pillows. Her hair is all over the place. She wakes up when
Amy speaks. She sits up, trying to bring some order to her disarrayed hair.
"Huh?" Is her intelligent commment.
Posted by Carin and Amy on 3/31/2001, 8:51 pm
Carin tries not to laugh, covering her mouth before finishing with her hair.
Amy smiles, "Hungry, fluff ball?" giggles.
Posted by Sarah on 3/31/2001, 8:52 pm
"Kinda.." Starts hunting for a comb in her stuff.
"Oh no, don't tell me I forgot again.."
Posted by Carin and Amy on 3/31/2001, 9:02 pm
This time, she does laugh, and offers her brush.
Amy dissapears into the kitchen...
Posted by Sarah on 3/31/2001, 9:04 pm
"I'll see if I can find mine first.. Why do I always forget a brush? No-body
notices with my hair anyway.. but it's still annoying.."
Posted by Carin and Amy on 3/31/2001, 9:22 pm
She smiles and nods, looking to the kitchen where Amy had disappeard a moment before
at the sound of a crash.
"Eeesh! Bad Cat!" a grey and white tomcat runs out of the kitchen, a big
hunk of chicken in his mouth. Amy follows, surprising him by grabbing him by the
scruff of the neck, "Drop the chicken, Odie. Now." she holds him out away
from her when he tries to scratch. He growls.
Posted by Sarah on 3/31/2001, 9:24 pm
Watches quietly.
Posted by Carin and Amy on 3/31/2001, 9:38 pm
She laughs, watching the doomed cat.
He continues to growl, clinging to the peice like a precious jewel. Amy tries to
grab it from him and barely avoids a scratch, "Fine, no tuna for you!"
She opens the front door and puts him out, closing the door behind her as quickly
as possible, "You'd think he'd killed the bird." she sigh-giggles and wanders
back to the kitchen.
Posted by Sarah on 3/31/2001, 9:39 pm
Laughs quietly..
Hums a song...
Posted by Amy on 6/2/2001, 12:13 am
as "Drops of Jupiter" plays on a nearby radio, she cooks spaghetti sauce
in one pan, and is mixing cottage cheese with spinach in another. She glances into
the front room, then continues to cook, and her grey & white tomcat yowls at
her feet.
"Oh, go away, Odie. You've had your fair share..."
Posted by Sarah on 6/2/2001, 12:15 am
The border smells the food from the living room and waifs in.
Posted by Carin on 6/2/2001, 12:20 am
She hears the music playing and smells the food cooking from the front porch where
she pauses in her return from yet another business trip.
Posted by Amy on 6/2/2001, 12:20 am
Starts to put lasagna noodles in a tray after putting a mixture of the sauce and
the spinach and cottage cheese at the very bottom. She glances over and grins, "Hungry?"
The cat at her feet meows.
"Not you, silly kitty." smiles.
Posted by Sarah on 6/2/2001, 12:22 am
She nods, smilling a bit. "Yep."
Posted by Amy on 6/2/2001, 12:24 am
Smiles. "Grab an apple or something... this won't be ready for a bit."
She finishes the last layer of the lasagna and puts yet another layer of the mixture,
then puts lots of cheese ontop.
"There's plenty in the fridge..."
Posted by Sarah on 6/2/2001, 12:26 am
Opens the frigde, and finds an apple.
"I don't know if I thanked you yet for letting me stay with you..."
Nods,
Posted by Amy on 6/2/2001, 12:29 am
"Yes... you did. And it's fine... I'd have everyone here if I could fit them."
She grins. "Plus... in this city... you never know who could step to your door."
She smiles again and sticks the lasagna in the oven, then looks around, "Have
you seen Carin?"
Posted by Carin on 6/2/2001, 12:30 am
She knocks on the door, and waits for someone to answer, hefting her heavy suitcase
and handling the present she found for Amy carfully in her other hand.
Posted by Sarah on 6/2/2001, 12:32 am
"Oh. Good."
Her head tilts towards the door.
"That might be her."
Posted by Amy on 6/2/2001, 12:33 am
Smiles, "I'll get it." She runs to the door and opens it, in her rainbow
apron with her hair pinned up in a bun. "There you are! I've got Mom's lasagna
in the oven... let me help you..."
Posted by Carin on 6/2/2001, 12:41 am
She grins, "Yeah, I smell it..." breathes in, but instead of handing her
the suitcase, she turns, so that Amy can see the small puddle of fluff in the crook
of her left arm "I found him in an alley on my way here..." the little
orange and white puffball stirrs and gazes up at Amy with sleepy green eyes. Carin
looks at her friend almost appologetically "I sorta named him already..."
Smirks "Marshmallow." Hands her the kitten and waits to see her reaction.
Posted by Amy on 6/2/2001, 12:46 am
"Aww..." giggles at the name, "I'm not the only one who names cats
after cats, am I?" She smiles and gently picks it up, cradling it for a moment,
"Adorable..." The tomcat in the kitchen gives her a strange look. She sticks
her toungue out at him, then grins at Carin, "Get yourself comfy... it'll take
a while to cook..." she smiles and walks back into the kitchen, setting the
kitten in a basket full of towels.
Posted by Sarah on 6/2/2001, 12:50 am
She looks at the little kitty. "Cute..."
Smiles,
Posted by Amy on 6/2/2001, 12:54 am
"Ain't he?" She picks up the grey and white tomcat and puts him into the
garage, coming back with a box full of kittens, and a mother cat behind them, "Let's
see if Midnight will adopt him okay... she usually does..." She sets the box
down, where three similar sized kittens lay, one black like it's mother, one calico,
and one a grayish-blue. She glances at Carin, "Should I try it? Or would you
rather have me bottle feed him?"
Posted by Carin on 6/2/2001, 12:57 am
Nods "Go ahead and try... it's alot easier than bottle-feeding... trust me."
smiles ruefully. She lifts the kitten from where he's savaging her shoelaces and
strokes him as he attacks gnaws on her fingers, handing him over to Amy.

Sets the kitten in front of the mother cat who sniffs him for a few seconds, then
glances up at Amy. Amy smiles and pets first the kitten, then the mother cat.
The mother cat mrrows questioningly, then at Amy's encouraging reply of "It's
okay", she licks the kitten a few times, picks him up by the scruff of his neck,
and gently places him inside with the other kittens. The silvery blue one pounces
on the newcomer, while the others sniff him cautiously. The mother cat hops in, and
curls up in a corner.
Amy smiles, "See? She's such a good cat." She pats the cat on the head
and it purrs loudly.

She grins and steps inside, setting her things by the door and laughing as the rambunctious
kitten wanders around the basket, then tumbles out and mews before exploring the
room.
