What exactly is an
"adventure" title, anyway? It seems that many games have been labeled "adventure"
when the developer can't quite peg what the genre the game in question
best fits (or isn't willing to alienate a potential gamer by telling the
truth.) This game sound more like a strategy/simulation game to us. According
to a bit we found on the interent, the plot for B.I.O.S.
Fear goes something like this:
"It's up to you
to save what's left of humanity from its own greed and corporate profit
motives. What little remainis of Earth's ecosystem is protected within
giant biodomes, and the dome systems are failing. Can you find a way to
fix them before all life on Earth dies?" |
Sounds intriging, eh?
B.I.O.S. Fear was announced for a number of platforms including
the 3DO, Atari Jaguar, and 32x. Regrettably, it was cancelled for the 32x
and was never released for ANY system, though a prototype is rumored to
exist for the Jaguar.
