Interplay's Clayfighter
franchise remained fairly popular amoung fighting enthusiasts until the
series ran out of steam with the Nintendo 64's mediocre
Clay Fighter
63 1/3. The first three games, Clayfighter, Clayfighter:
Tournament Edition (a Blockbuster Video exclusive) and Clayfighter
2: Judgement Clay, all appeared on the Super Nintendo and featured
bizarre motion-captured clay models battling it out in a variety of strange
locales. The 32x port of Clayfighter 2
would have probably been very similar to the Super Nintendo game, but we
shall never know.
