Like it's main competitors (the 3DO and Jaguar), the 32x was scheduled to receive a port of Atari's 2-D dinosaur fighter on the CD-Rom format. The game was released instead on a cartridge, perhaps because Time/Warner realized that any game for the 32x CD was a money-losing proposition. The cartridge game isn't much better than the Genesis original... perhaps the unreleased Primal Rage CD would have contained the full-sized characters and full animation found in the arcade parent. It would have certainly been nice to have seen a 32x CD release (no matter how average) that was a REAL game instead of an "interactive movie."
