Sega announced a 32x
game based on the live action children's TV show (itself a spin-off the
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) at the 1994 Winter Consumer Electronics Show,
then never mentioned it again. Most likely an enhanced version of the Genesis
fighting game, VR Troopers was
in the midst of programming by Flying Tiger Development when the 32x market
went sour and the game was cancelled. Flying Tiger worked with Sega on
the 32x port of Star Wars Arcade and was also involved in
the production of two other cancelled 32x titles,
Ratchet & Bolt
and 32Xtreme.
