Alaskan, Winter Ale, 6% ABV
A fantastic, amazing beer – certainly within the top 100 of all the 4000 different beers sampled thus far! The texture of this delicious beer from the Alaskan Brewery, is that of caramel, which seems to lodge itself warmingly at the back of the throat. The head is creamy, bubby, and well laced. The taste is of malt accompanied by wine, which seem to blend together to produce a scrumptious caramel flavour, with toffee in the finish. This medium-bodied beer is packed with a tingly fizz, and a sugary, malty aroma. A great sweet beer from the north.
