Anchor, Summer Beer, 4.5% ABV
Anchor’s staple brews are Liberty Ale and Steam Beer, but its Summer Beer unquestionably lives up to the high expectations of an Anchor brew. Full-bodied and floral in flavour, it finishes hoppy, and almost has the aftertaste of wine. The moderate carbonation aid the lovely juicy texture. Flowers, lemons and yeast all populate the bouquet. A lacy head tops this mid-golden, medium-dry beer from the USA. Pleasantly easy to go down as well.
