This is one of THE BEST BEERS EVER!! Superb! Fantastic! …Whichever other superlatives you can think of. A full-bodied Dutch beer with not too much sweetness and only a small degree of fizz. It has the sumptuous flavour of cherries, but not in a Kriek-type way – it almost defines it’s one style. It has an aftertaste of chocolate, an a lovely chocolatey bouquet. A smooth ornate head tops this straw-copper beer. It has overtones very reminiscent of Turkish delight wrapped in chocolate. This beer has the advantage of both having a plethora of flavours, as well as being a full, wholesome brew. What more can I say?
