Greene King, The Beer To Dine For, 5% ABV

This is Greene King's attempt at a 'table beer', and not a bad attempt it is too. The colour of this beer is mid-golden. It's head of froth dissipates rather too quickly. The aroma is not dominant at all. In fact, the smell gives the impression of a stronger beer that this actually is. The flavour is full of zest, with bitterness there as well, which subsides in the finish leaving hops, and what can aptly be described as 'squirty lemon'. A very juicy mouthfeel. A fairly fruity beer, which is, as per its name, a perfect accompaniment to food. It comes in large bottles, so it's great for sharing!
