Hijos de Rivera, HR, 4.7% ABV
This is one of the most refreshing, easy to go down beers I’ve sampled to date. The flavour has some banana undertones, leading to a fizzy aftertaste. A delicate toffee aroma emerges from the smooth bubbly head of froth that leaves patchy lacing around the sides of the glass. It has average sweetness and carbonation. The bottle is a bit small, but it’s compensated by the sumptuous fresh contents.
