Kaiserdom, Pilsener, 4.9% ABV

A full-bodied German pilsner, and a tasty beer. The labelling of this beer is quite distinctive, I’ve always thought, because the front label is black, whereas the back label is white – normally they’re both more or less the same colour. Anyway, the flavour of this medium-dry straw beer is very crisp, leading to a delicious aftertaste containing traces of fruits. A crisp texture is preceded by a fresh, musty bouquet. Its moderate carbonation give it a thin, ringed head, with fairly ornate lacing.
