This stout is typically Irish, with its thick persistent head the froth concealing a reddish black beer beneith. Its aroma of black-currents preceeds a taste that is rather fizzy on the tongue with a liquorice aftertaste and dry finish. Lovely!
This is a smooth beer that tastes fresh and pure. Its head is rather patchy and dissipates quickly but this is more than compensated by the taste, which is reminiscent of candy with a pear-drop aroma. A refreshing beer. One of the best.
Bursting forth from the nut aroma is a fruity taste emerging from the hops. Well carbonated beer with a raisin finish. Fizzy on the tongue and a podgy froth.
The taste of this organic product is reminiscent of orange juice, with a hint of bitterness in the finish and a fizzy mouthfeel. The head looks promising at first, but the bubbles soon give way, releasing an aroma that has rather currant-like undertones. Overall a beer full of zest!
This is a lovely refreshing beer. It's hoppiness comes through in all of its facets. The taste is fruitish and the finish is almost definitely apple, with an almost "juicy" mouthfeel. The head of froth is well laced and the hops comes through prominently in the scent.
The flavour is Tyne Bridge Ale is predominantly that of treacle, which you can almost feel coating itself onto your tongue as you drink it. Rather frisky in the finish, a scent of dark berries. A wonderful beer!
This is a somewhat sourish cider, especially in the mouthfeel, but is quite sweet. The aftertaste is perhaps of caramelised sugar. The head is quite good for a cider, retaining a thin ring around the glass. Paradoxical to the sweetness, this cider is also quite dry, but this aspect emerges mainly from the bitterness.
