It’s flavour contains oranges and yeast, but it is in the finish that its hop character comes to the fore, directed mainly at the palate. Yeast accentuates the bouquet, and it has an agreeable sweet, hoppy texture. This medium- to full-bodied beer has a smooth, persistent head of froth, that thins out, producing some lacing. It has moderate carbonation and a restrained degree of sweetness. This is one of my much tasted beers, simply because we almost always lodge in the Torenzicht pub in Amsterdam, when we go there, and it is the best bottled beer that they sell.
