Radermacher, Rader Ambree, 10.5% ABV

My opinions of this copper-straw strong Belgian beer vary widely. Sometimes I think it’s a bit too strong, others I can appreciate its sumptuous sweetness. With a cloudy hue, it is topped by a bubbly head, which slowly dissipates to a ring, leaving ornate lacing. The warming mouthfeel is preceded by a yeasty, musty aroma. Caramel with some fruity character accentuate the flavour, leaving a candy malt finish. With not too much fizz, this is a full-bodied beer. I’ll leave it up to you to decide how good it actually is.
