Volendam, Witvoetje T'Volen Bier, 5% ABV

This Dutch beer has a fruity character to its taste, with a certain lemon wheatiness in the finish. The wheat bursts through into the aroma, accompanied by citrussy scents. Fizzy in the mouth, this is a medium-sweet beer, with medium body. It is straw coloured, with a definite cloudy hue, topped by a bubbly head that dissipates, the beer having only moderate carbonation. All in all, a refreshing beer.
