The 9-0-4 ARC maintains a repeater which operates under the
call sign of K9IM on 147.255 MHz.
with an offset of +600 KHz.
It is open for the use of any properly licensed amateur radio operator.
Until recently the repeater was located at the former Illinois State Police Sub-station 13A building, overlooking Fort Defiance Park and the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers at Cairo, Illinois.
The Repeater is now located at a tower site in Cairo, IL.
The Antenna is at a height of 170 foot on the tower.
The Repeater has an output wattage of approximately 60 Watts
and has excellent coverage for
Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky
and Southeast Missouri.
