The bumbling Eledore Massis, despite his name and hair, is actually NOT a woman, though he had me fooled the first time I saw him. Eledore is a bit of a flake. He rarely takes his work seriously, and in an age of modern technolody, space colonies and giant mobile suits, still likes to practice the 1980's activity of blasting loud music into his head from a walkman. Eledore has apparently been groundside for quite a while, operating a Type 74 Hovertruck vehicle as the communications vehicle for the 08th MS Team. God knows how he manages to keep his music up so high but still be able to detect Zakus from miles away with the Hovertruck's underground sonar, but he manages to pull it off. Worst of all, poor Eledore has managed to fall into a hopleless infatuation with the hot-headed Karen Joshua, though he gets nothing but constant harrassment from her.
