| The hapless Shiro Amada's other subordinate, Karen Joshua doesn't warm up to her new commander very well. Well convinced of his poor skills as a pilot, Karen doesn't finally acknowledge Shiro for who he actually is until manages to liberate a Zeon-occupied village near a strategic mountain fortification. Karen has been in the Earth Federation's ground forces for some time, initially with much more expertise than the newly arrived (and space-bound) Shiro and Terry Sanders. Karen seems to be a fairly good pilot, though she does have some reserves about paradrop operations... Karen does frequently underestimate the capabilities of her enemies, though, which often leads to her undoing in a combat secnario (and injuries to her poor Gundam). |
