| This is a sort of attempt at a comic song, but it does have a real issue behind it. This is the male attitude of when a woman breaks up with you, after denial/stalking/phoning her then hanging up, resentment towards her. It's a simple song, not at all clever, catchy tune and an expletive in the chorus. And at the end of course, the poor sap regrets all the things he's said and finds that it is too late. Oh well - shit happens. |
