He is a guest lecturer and an alumnus of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Arts and Letters, where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts; And the De La Salle University College of Business and Economics Graduate School for his Masters in Marketing Communications.    
 
THe ADmiral has been in the advertising business for more than twenty years, more than half of which were spent in multinational advertising agencies.

He started from the bottom of the food chain as a copywriter trainee and moved his way up to the position of a Creative Director.
