THE PAST OF THE BAND  - ALIAS

The year was 1995, it was the first year of senior school, and tyrone ward had gone to Sir thomas richs...a grammar school in gloucester.
Tyrone was already an accomplished guitarist, who had been playing for at least 6 years!

Tyrone was quick to persue his talents, firstly by becoming very ambishious in the year 8 music classes. Under the carful eye of Mr thompson, tyrone put on a performance of a medly of some indie songs from the time.

A recent addition to the class had been tim hole. Tim had been playing drums for a few years, and decided to leave his previous parteners, one of whom was me, to perform with tyrone and jack.
The compilation was a complete success and tyrone and tim became excelent friends.

Soon the friends wanted to perform more, and decided to create a proper band. Their first gig was

Soon the band worte a few peices, with jack writing lyrics to some of tyrones music.
In the end, something amazing happened, the band got to do a gig with another band called drifter.

This caused a crisis. The band only had 3 musicians, tyrone on his guitar, tim on his drums and lucy on vocals!
The band needed a bassist.
Another friendly guitarist was rich gavin, who the band quickly drafted.
this was the turning point in the bands career, the threesome performed amazingly and sealed their fete as one of the best local bands ever!

However things started to move rather quickly and before anyone knew better the band had gained a second guitarist. This would not do, the band was a threesome, and the exploits of "will" almost tore the band apart.
Instead of trying to sort things out, tyrone and tim put their friendship first and left the band. They then got back together again!

By now there was more gigs coming along, and the problem of a bassist returned! so the decided to gain support from another firnd who was learning bass at the time - robin.

Tim and tyrone by now were far more advanced than robin and robin decided it would be best to leave the band. Then one of the most important things happened in the whole history, they were invited to play on the radio!
After this they were asked to play in a mini festival, locally. So before the gig rich was added to the lineup. Rich was an accomplished guitarist, bassist, sax player, piano and vocalist. The perfect talent for the up and coming band!

This brings us into more present day. At the moment the lineup is still the same. A brief period of calm has enstilled while the bans increases their titles and have added to the original 7 to make over 13 now...i believe

Currently, with this slowdown of "giggage" the members have been doing separate projects, while writing for alias!
