THE GREAT DEBATE:is 90s music just ? or or maybe even a good mix of the 2 ? draw your own conclusions from the evidence presented.

I look at the music of the 90s and i think what the hell went wrong ? it all started to go pear shaped in the 1980s with the introduction of simply pressing buttons to make a noise and sing along with it.It was a good idea as it was original, unfortunately now in the "90s" the idea is being abused by nearly everyone who has a few bob to splash out on a set of decks and a keyboard. Years ago you had to sell over a million copies of a single to get to number 1 nowdays its a few thousand hence the value of number one has dropped in the uk and hence why we get so many number 1s and 1 hit wonders in the 90s. The blame cannot solely be put on to the button pressing vinyl spinning flunky djs.There are other perpertrators of the the death of music people in the buisness purely to crucify the old stuff they arnt content singing it in their bedrooms oh no they have to come on the stage to make a bit of money out of ripping off classics and crucifing them ie puff daddy crucifying every breath you take by the police. The same man is yet again guilty of ruining kashmir by led zeppelin by putting some terrible Godzilla tripe over the top of it in the form as what can only be described as a mumble of words with the sound of a classic sound in the background. Other doers of this evil include Steps with tradegy and i tell you thats what it is an absolute tradegy that the bee gees dont sue em so they get back on the dole where they belong also there renditions or should i say putrifications of Abba are an absolute sin against humanity such unique magic should be left alone but no they have to pay a tribute why dont they just say good songs and leave it at that no they have to think they are them re enacting there childhood dreams on stage well its an absolute disrespect to them. Other such villans of this crime are oasis they deliberately steal riffs from other bands to promote their same sounding songs over and over again they write their own words ill give em that but it dont give em a right to think they are the Beatles other such rip offs are always there on the sidelines waiting to appear. But i must say there is one thing about the 90s that really really does piss me off !!!! NOBODY LISTENS TO THE WORDS !!!! what sells a record aint the song its how good looking the singers are has the lass got big breasts and a barbie smile and do the lads look like adonis the crowd dont give a damn whats being sung at em as long as the pretty faces are singing it to em. It makes me sick how the likes of the spice girls can brainwash a nation of what is meant to be intelligent people into thinking they can sing!!!! i fear the future for the kids of today who are being brainwashed are gonna be our next doctors nurses, teachers and prime ministers and if they are all to happy to be sheep now what will they be in the future ? God help us all i personally cant wait for the year 2000 maybe some originality will reappear from somewhere but i highly doubt it.I must admit that there are some good bands in the 90s and a few good songs that make up about 5% of the 90s spectrum who i have mentioned in my Good music section.In conclusion i feel the 90s is all of the above and then some more things which i wont metion as theyd make you feel ill. what do you think:
