2001 Dinner Dance and Annual Picnic Update

As you are about to enjoy a long summer of fun, the Officers of SFCO are busy planning for the next Dinner Dance and Annual Picnic. Let's mark our calendar now and plan to attend on September 1 and 2, 2001 - the 11th Dinner Dance Celebration and Annual Picnic.  It will be held at the Three Flames Restaurant, 1547 Meridian Avenue, San Jose, CA.  The live band, "Rising Stars", will provide the entertainment.

Remember, this is the only time of the year that all members of the organization can come together for a grand celebration of dancing, reunion and fun.  This is the time of the year where we can showcase our organization to our friends by inviting them to these celebrations.  Remember, the Dinner Dance  costs only $40.00 per person.  You cannot beat this price even if you shopped around!  Most Dinner Dance tickets are now ranging from $50 to $65 per person.

Feel free to invite your friends to the Annual Picnic the following day, which is paid for by our organization.  The Picnic will be held at Lick Mill Park in Santa Clara from 10am-6pm.  Here, they will enjoy Filipino delicacies while they help us raise funds for a good cause.  The money from these events will help buy new computers for the students of Santa Fe Schools (O-it and Ilong).  We also plan to give scholarships to deserving High school students if enough funds are available.

We will have raffles during the Dinner Dance. You can help sell the Raffle tickets at $2.00 per ticket or a book of 6 tickets for $10.00. Prizes: 1st prize - Camcorder, 2nd prize - DVD player, 3rd prize - Digital camera, 4th prize - Portable CD player.  Don't be afraid to try your luck.  You may be the lucky winner!

We will continue to have a souvenir program for the Dinner Dance.  All officers are committed to solicit a full page ad to support this activity.  Please plan to put up an advertisement in the Dinner Dance Souvenir Program.
