Fe Project Update Project Title: Multi-Purpose Facility for Education Development and Training Programs Project Location: Santa Fe, San Marcelino, Zambales Beneficiaries: The 1,500 young people of Barangay Santa Fe East and West Objectives: 1) To provide opportunities for the youth of Santa Fe to avail of the continuing education and development programs, especially for the out-of-school group. 2) To conduct functional leadership training programs/sports development and trade skills training for both the out and in school youth. 3) To promote cooperation in the community and strengthen the bayanihan spirit among the youth. 4) To showcase a productive, competitive, enlightened democratic society of youth in the vicinity of Santa Fe. 5) Undertake educational projects which will promote youth partnership in the sustainable development programs in the barangay, including environmental awareness campaigns, clean-up drives and tree planting activities. 6) Establish and maintain links with existing youth groups in the barangay for purposes of coordinated youth action relating to environmental protection and preservation. A multi-purpose building is a much needed facility to house and facilitate continuing education developmental programs and leadership designed for the young people of Santa Fe. The Light Bringers Organization of Santa Fe will implement the project. Total cost of the project is P100,000.00. The Santa Fe Community Organization, U.S.A. will provide $1,000.00 (equivalent to > P50,000.00) as requested to support this project. The Light Bringers of Santa Fe will provide lot, labor and other services at P50,000.00 to complete the project. |
