- It was easily the best disaster film of this
recent wave, IMO. I can see where people would have been
disappointed in a theater, in that it takes the time to develop a
couple of cute characters and is very silly, doesn't at all take
itself seriously.
- Would overturning a gumball machine really
slow down a rampaging pack of 9ft tall lizards? The answer is
yes, but only if you also overturn a container of basketballs.
- There was something of Bilbo and Smaug in
Broderick and Godzi.
- The answer to my earlier question to Boba re
the name 'Armin' is that it's the real name of Principal Skinner
in The Simpsons and is the name of a cabbie in Godzilla, no doubt
because two of the leads in Godzilla are Simpsons voice actors.
