Day and Night in Every Land,
Mommies take their babies hands.
They laugh and play the whole day long,
Nights they sing their favorite songs,
Eating things like milk and toast,
All the foods they love the most.
Day and Night in Every Land
Little children take a stand.
They don't want anybody else
Just their mommies to themselves.
Taking walks through parks and fields,
Using mommies as their shield.
They like to swing and merry-go-round
To parts unknown they're ever bound.
Day and Night in Every Land
The place where toddlers give demands.
They love to run and hide and seek
Nothing about them is mild or meek.
Games and toys and story time,
They love to hear their nursery rhymes.
The time you spend on silly things
Gives them the fuel they need to spread their wings.
