Breathless

Already released as a single. Went to number 1 in UK.

Give me A Reason

Similar to 'Leave me Alone' from debut album. Has computerised drums near
end. In my opinion it sounds worse than live drums and more like the drum
machine on a pop/dance song e.g. Steps, Sonique.

More up-tempo with a rhythm as fast as 'Dreams' from ' Talk on Corners'
Special Edition.

I think this song is really good - it has been described by other websites
as "something from Madonna's 'Ray of Light ' album" although I don't think
it was The Corrs intention.

Somebody for Someone

Similar vibe to 'Forgiven not Forgotten' on debut album but not as good. No
violin solo intro. but an electric piano instead. Sounds a lot more pop - no
prominent guitars - but violin solo near end is pretty good.

However, this has great vocals - Andrea's high notes when she sings the
chorus sound soulful: ' Look at me, see me.'

The title makes this song sound like it's going to be a love song but it's
something more serious like ' Forgiven not Forgotten' or 'Heaven Knows' from
1st album.

Say

Similar to 'Hopelessly Addicted' from ' Talk on Corners' but faster. A good
love song which has a mostly pop sound.
Rhythm has a heavy base, which helps the song flow with the vocals.

Near the end is a breakdown of instruments and a great harmony of vocals
following then it carry's on.

There is no violin or tin whistle solos to make this song sound Irish and
Andrea's soft vocals only make it sound like a Corrs song.

I read in another review, which has been a lot more critical than me wrote:
' A lot of clever arrangement has gone into the song' which I think is true
to make it sound it is they had to computerise the song.

All the Love in the World

Sounds just like a slow Shania Twain song - it was produced and co - written
by her producer Mutt Lange like 'From this Moment On' but has a beautiful
Spanish guitar and the tin whistle is used for once in the middle of a few
bars!

It has really good vocals and is a brilliantly produced love song.

Radio

If you do not have the 'Unplugged' album you should buy it just to hear how
good this song can really be.
This 'In Blue' version has not been crucified but shot in the leg and
bleeding!

It has a good drum beat and the guitars sound the same but there is only one
violin part for only 2 bars(!) which isn't the same as the original.

Irresistible   * One of my favourites

Described as the new 'So Young' but more mature - happy up-tempo song.

I think this is really good - similar to 'Breathless - Mutt Lange is better
at producing fast up beat songs for The Corrs. This will do really well as a
single.

Sounds more rock for once - an improvement.

One Night    * One of my favourites

Haunting like 'Closer' from 1st album ' Forgiven not Forgotten'.

Beautiful, haunting ballad. Makes you feel like crying in a good way.
Has a strings section  - sound classic and dreamy.

Andrea's vocals sound gorgeous - sends shivers down your spine and have a
far away feel.

Also has a Spanish guitar solo again which sounds perfect of course and
contribute very well.

Song starts with a programmed synth and drum beat but it sounds just as good
as a live beat.

All in a Day

Sounds like a pop song a more commercial pop band would have on their album
but isn't good enough to be released as a single.

However, the violin saves it with a rift, which makes it, sound like a Corrs
song.

The chorus has good lyrics and as the vocals increase towards the end it
lifts the song to sound better.

At Your Side

This version is faster and not as acoustic as the 'Unplugged' version with a
vocals pause near the end and it sounds a bit higher (e.g. a semitone) but
this may just be how it turned out live. What I do know is this version
sounds more crisp than 'Unplugged'.

Not as many violin parts as the live version but enough to sound very
similar and it sounds just as good.

No more Cry   * One of my favourites

Sounds like a Brit. pop song but with an Irish accent! Like Garbage or
Republica - rock /punk edge.

This is the song they wrote about their mother who died last year. It is a
lot more refreshing than a predictable ballad.

This is fast moving with great guitars and vocals.

Rain

Pop song but good lyrics showing depth. The violin and tin whistle play this
time - a good tune but is too short to be appreciated.

I read on their official website corrsinblueuk.com that Sharon wrote this
song in New Orleans when it was raining at night. It really is good for
listening to at night when it is raining - perfect mood and atmosphere.

Give it all Up

Similar to 'The Right Time' from debut album with a reggae vibe.

I did not like this song at first because it sounds too different from the
Corrs other music but it grew on me as it is really good for listening to on
a hot summers day and has a great brass section - trumpet and a saxophone.

Hurt Before   *One of my favourites

Gorgeous, stunning deep ballad. As good as 'Closer' if not slightly better.
Great strings, intelligent lyrics.

Rebel Heart
Instrumental.

Beautiful, as good as 'Erin Shore' from debut album but not as long
unfortunately and doesn't have a proper ending - slower than Paddy McCarthy
from 2nd album 'Talk on Corners' with warming vocals near end.

Looking at the whole of the album it is really good,it sounds more
commercial but I think the Corrs are  still being true to themselves with some experimenting.
