| Lord, I love You not because You are great, I love You not because my parents loves You, I love You because You are my Saviour, And my greatest Friend. Most of all though, I love You because You first loved me. Lord, Thank You for loving me, Thank You for breathing life into me, Everyday, Your mercies are always new, You protect me from danger and harm, You send angels to watch over me when I sleep. It's comforting to know that wherever I am, And whatever wrong that I do, You will still love me. Because of what You have done, I am able to be called Your child. Help me Lord, To love You, To obey You. I can never get to repay You in this life and the life everlasting, But the only thing I can do now, Is to love You. Grace May '2001 |
