| Midnight's Kiss In the sullen hours of midnight's fatal kiss I take myself to the final hours the sacred remembrance I fill my empty soul with your starry graceless eyes Your precious, tasteless words, Words that spin inside me now swirl in painful anxiousness awaiting tomorrow's nightfall Shattered In the opalecent twilight reflected in my eyes, I feel your stare softly blind me and I am given to air you're my subtle breeze, you're my violent wind taking me back to an ill~forgotten oblivion; I linger in the tenderness intimate essence of preciousness, destroy my fear, love, sweet love of my conviction's past Hold my fate kiss the crystal tears; I cry for you, out loud and you only walk me through the darkness While you shatter my dreary veil of sullen tears I allow you to breate in dreamtime's mist reminiscent of the shattered yesterdays that whisper of forbiden realism and the absence of the way you used to know me Lace MIDNIGHT LACES THROUGH MY DREAMS and I find your face once more THE BLUENESS OF YOUR EYES laces through my reality THE REALNESS OF YOUR TOUCH laces around my body THE PAIN OF YOUR TEARS laces through my emotion YOUR SORROW'S TAINTED SCREAMS bleed into my tomorrows THE BEAUTY OF YOUR RARE SMILE laces through my subconcience THE TASTE OF YOUR ANGST RIDDEN STARE pierces the stillness YOUR SUBTLE NUMBNESS laces through me WE ARE APART ONCE MORE |
