I nervously knocked on his door. I don't know if he will tell me to go away or what. I waited patiently and he slowly opened the door.
"Heero, what do you want?"
"I heard what happened. I wanted to see if you were alright."
"I guess so. I should've been expecting this. Everything was just too good to be true."
"I could kill him for hurting you."
Duo looked over at Heero in surprise. He looked geniunely concerned for him and pissed of at J.J. at the same time.
"You really care?"
"I already told you I did."
"It wouldn't have bothered me so much, but I had just talked to you. I lost you and then J.J."
"Duo, you never lost me."
"When I walked out on you I did. I should've listened to you and known that you never held any feelings for Relena. I was a teenager; I was naive, immature, and acted out of jealousy. Yes, I was jealous of Relena. I felt she saw more of you than I did. Heero, I'm the one that is sorry."
"Duo, I understand now. I think we both had too much miscommunication between us, but I think we can get over that obstacle. The war is over and we can both live our lives in peace, together. Let's give our relationship another try."
Duo looked at Heero, hesitating to answer. He had been hurt a lot. "Okay, I will but you better not end up hurting me."
"I will never leave you. I love you and would not do anything to hurt you. Just believe me."
Duo gave him a small smile. I pulled him into a hug and placed a light kiss on his lips. Tomorrow would be a new day, with my love. We shall never be apart again.
