Freeze
The sky glittered across the white covered plain
Dashing in the beauty and truth, far from pain
The breath, the wind stolen from this- fled
Sleeping, dancing in halls the light of a diamond bed
Open in the setting, in my bareness- I cease to forget
I reap and sow my emotions, soon to kill- but this I let, I let
The night pressed herself upon the reluctant, fragile city
The innocence so strong, my weakness for it-suffers no pity
The light and stars shine is delicate war
The fight of wars, from peace to beauty, won, lost nor
I took in what wasn't mine, and feared the pleasure of cold
Shared to me, meek to I, the young beauty of our world of old
I faced myself upon this road; the battle remembered without fight
All along the velvet wrapped around me and engulfed me in night
But the truth for life to believe
Has been abandoned, it will leave
Hold this moment of pureness, winter's freeze
