The Way of Water

Pools of Illusion (First Basic): By invoking Pools of Illusion, the Acting Mage may 'program' a pool of water to show a specific illusionary image. The Acting Mage cuts their wrist, pouring the blood into the water to be affected, and sets the parameters of the illusion, as well as its 'trigger event'. The Illusion may be 'triggered' by a specific event ('when Whomever looks into the water', for instance), and lasts for approximately one minute. The illusion is three dimensional, may move, speak, and even walk, but may not leave the boundaries of the pool of water from which they are invoked.

Watery Solace (Second Basic): Should a Vampire desperately require shelter, be it from enemies or from the rising sun, she may opt to sink below the protective surface of the waves. Once interred beneath the waves, the Vampire is completely protected by this spell. This power acts, in many respects, as per the Protean Discipline of Earth Meld. The Vampire may remain interred as long as the water remains in sufficient quantity to contain her whole body. She is not affected by water currents, nor will water creatures affect her rest. This spell requires water at least a foot deep, and of sufficient volume to submerge the Vampire's whole body completely.

Water Walk (First Intermediate): Once this spell is cast the Mage gains the ability to walk on water as though it were solid ground.

Watery Minions (Second Intermediate): The power of Watery Minions is particularly difficult to use. This power allows the Mage to awaken malicious water spirits from any body of water, and set them to attack.

Doom Tides (Advanced): The mighty power of Doom Tides allows a Mage to create mighty whirlpools with which to drag their enemies to their watery graves. If successful, the Mage may call forth a raging whirlpool in any large body of water, which will drag anyone unfortunate enough to be on the water, to the bottom. Mortals, needless to say, usually drown, Kindred so affected may be battered and bruised by the high speed whirlpool, but will usually be otherwise unaffected. The vortex created by Doom Tides lasts for 20 minutes.
