Brakeing your Dream Effects
Sometimes you have effects that can be triggered so often that you will lag out because of it.  This simple trick will add a one second delay to the repeat triggering of an effect.

***BRAKE!!!
(0:50) When countdown timer A goes off,
(A is just whatever number you want for this timer)
(5:6) swap object types 572 and 573.
(These are two sets of shoes, but you can have whatever objects you want)

Place the two objects somewhere where the can't be affected.  For a simple bump effect, the coding is easy.

***Sign Bump (DS for activating a whisper from a bot)
(0:3) When somebody moves into object type 286, (A sign)
(1:1013) and position (100,140) is object type 572, (the location of the shoes)
(5:6) swap object types 572 and 573.
(5:50) set countdown timer 3 to go off in 1 seconds.

(5:12) play sound 20 to everyone on the map.

For something a bit more complicated, just doubling up some of the DS will take care of it.

***Adjustable Bar Stools (DS for seats that raise and lower)
(0:19) When somebody uses object type 0, (presses F3 while hoding nothing)
(1:1013) and position (100,140) is object type 572, (The first brake object)
(1:18) and they (moved from/are standing at) object type 178, (the up bar seat is)
(3:5) where the triggering furre (moved from/is standing at),
(This line prevents adding the break in this section)
(5:5) change object type 178 to type 179.
(This is the break)
(5:8) play sound 6 to whoever set off the trigger.

(0:19) When somebody uses object type 0, (Effect for the brake)
(1:18) and they (moved from/are standing at) object type 178,
(1:1013) and position (100,140) is object type 572,
(The first brake object)
(5:6) swap object types 572 and 573.
(5:50) set countdown timer A to go off in 1 seconds.

(0:19) When somebody uses object type 0, (presses F3 while hoding nothing)
(1:1013) and position (100,140) is object type 572, (The first brake object)
(1:18) and they (moved from/are standing at) object type 179, (the down bar seat)
(3:5) where the triggering furre
(moved from/is standing at),
(5:5) change object type 179 to type 178.
(5:8) play sound 6 to whoever set off the trigger.

(1:18) and they (moved from/are standing at) object type 179,
(1:1013) and position (100,140) is object type 572,
(The first break object)
(5:6) swap object types 572 and 573.
(5:50) set countdown timer A to go off in 1 seconds.

You can extend the delay to 2-3 seconds for certain things, but remember this delay applies to all effects that use it.  So if you have a 2 second delay for a sign bump, no other effect will trigger that uses the brake until that delay clears.
