The fight for Truth and Justice... Furry style

From the editor (who's Back in Action!)
I've been off for a bit (ignore all rumors that I've been in a snit until Honcho finished my dream) but now I am back.  So what's new?  Well, reality has taken a toll on me, much like it has on everyone else.  The world is different, much as it changes with every day, but after September 11, it became a bit darker.

That was the day after I had published the previous issue, and I had to wonder why a silly newspage based on the happenings of an on-line RP chatroom game meant anything compared to the terrorist attack on America.  It was the day after that I realized that Furcadia wasn't a game, but an on-line community.  There was support and sympathy from all over the world in Acropolis that day.

Things change, but the spirit of humanity holds firm.  Dark days are still ahead, but the light of hope and freedom will shine brightly once again.  Life will go on, and so will our lives.  And our dreams.  And speaking of dreams....
FURTROPOLIS!
A new dream and patch Style
Created by Honcho
Honcho
With streets and sidewalks, MOVING cars and cross-walks, stores and parks, this is a dream that puts most others to shame.  And he claims he hasn't finished it yet!
Orinally, it was supposed to be a dream for me, but he got carried away with it from an obsession to create new walls.  He plans to have 100 different wall patterns when he finally publishes it so everyone can make their own dreams with it distinctive.  Well, at lease he made me an office to distribute my newspage from.  Now I need a staff to work at it.
Honcho has a place of his own.  His previous dream was a "hangout" which had a furrball court, maze, waterfall, and gardens to explore, as well as his home.  He put a pub in as an afterthought, and it became the most popular spot in his dream.  Now, with a new pub in the hotel, he has created a watering hole that is possibly the best in Furcadia.  From the design of the bar stools, the pinball game, the working dartboard, and the jukebox, the moment you walk in, you feel like you have entered a real bar.  You can even have drinks served to you at the counter!
Every dream seems to have one, and so does Furtropolis.  A place to go off and... well... *AHEM*... do the things that furries do behind closed doors.  No word on if he charges by the hour. *smirk*
A new twist to this dream is that you can actually buy things in it.  In Talz's, objects litterally pop off the shelf with a bot whisper of where to buy it.  There is also a bookstore, there the address of on-line stories and books will be bot-whispered when you bump and press F3 on bookshelves.  Soon to be completely will be a outdoor cafe, and there is room for a few other shops.  Maybe you can have one of your own!
One thing I noticed that unlike some dreams, Furtropolis seem to be set up for social gathering.  Honcho remarked that he wanted it to be a place where artists, writers, patchmakers and dreamcrafters could come and meet and talk shop.  He also would like his dream to become a dispenser of news and information about Furcadia and those that live here.  So, if you would like to have something mentioned to the masses, you might want to leave Honcho a message on the message board in the hotel pub.

There will also be job interviews for various positions in Furcadia.  The days and times will be posted in the entrytext.

Furtropolis will be located in the center of Acropolis.
