Rugby 2004

The world is not perfect and neither are video games, but sometimes one comes along that makes you really wonder, “What were they thinking”.
I wish the people at EA Sports could hear what I’m about to say: people play rugby for hard hits and fast play/action.

This game had neither, in fact it was the opposite. It was almost as if they just didn’t care about anything when they made this game. Create a character was horrible. (It seemed as though there were only 3 character models, and every player was built off of those), the season mode was boring and repetitive, and the gameplay was far too easy, (I didn’t know the New Zealand All Blacks would be beaten so easy on hard mode after playing for five minutes).

Boring

Maybe others wouldn’t be as disappointed as I was, but I returned the game, I did not even want it in my house. If you get the chance to rent it, do it only if you REALLY like rugby and can put up with all the faults.

I apologize for the briefness of this review, I think of it as more of a warning. BEWARE OF RUGBY 2004!
