Tania was covered in men. She had them on her feet, on her legs, on her torso. They were all sweeping their instruments around scanning her and walking all over her with tiny feet. She was relaxed more than she'd ever been before. "They say no man is an island... how about a woman?" She said to one guy who was walking over her bust line as if it were just a large hill. He came up to her neck and began loosening her neck muscles. She didn't WANT to sleep. This was more divine than even the dreams she'd considered "good" before.

She was VERY pissed when the alarms went off. She had to go to her battle station. That included her going to the weapons array now that she had added duties.

She didn't even have any training at it!

"Hurry. Back into the shuttle..." She was going to try to pick them off of her body one by one and put them in the shuttle herself, but they were transported even faster than she could move them. With a bit of relief she picked up the shuttle and started down the corridor to her new post. It was a crowded corner between two photon torpedo tubes. Her communicator was a direct link to the bridge. The order to fire was already on her console when she sat down.

She readied the first tube in sequence and released the first volley.

The other women manning their consoles were doing the same. The robotic arms began chugging away loading more torpedoes as she primed the tubes again.

On one screen she could see the actual target.

A Borg cube. It was the very picture of horror and alien technology. Conduits and dark panels and every inch of it deadly.

Her veins turned to ice. "If I die, escape!" She told the men in the shuttle not bothering to see if they heard her.

They were afraid as well. The next volley of photon torpedo's shot outward. The Borg cube had adjusted their shields already. Voyager was having to run now and fire rear torpedo tubes.

Booming all over the ship reported that the Borg weapons were breaching Voyager's shields already.

Tania was suddenly shocked as her console blew. Tendrils of arcing blue electricity was unleashed on her hands.

They'd been hit right in the weapons array.

A fire ball erupted as the bulkhead came loose and conduits bent outward to space. The percussion was horrendous and she was propelled out into space with her chair and several other items that had broken free from the damage.

A hideous hole was torn in Voyager's hull.

The computer erected a stability field around the damaged area to prevent anyone else from being sucked out, but for Tania it was too late. She was hurled out into space through the volley of Borg fire and as she drifted she saw both ships head into the void.

Constant fire from both ships and two flanking spheres lighting up space like a fire works display. The Borg were merely wearing Voyager down so they could take it with no resistance.

  They didn't have a chance!

Tania was amazed that she'd lived long enough to see it. Her blood should have boiled out of her flesh by now. But she drifted into an object and turned to see that she was caught in a tractor beam.

And there was a shield extended around her.

  She could breathe.

A normal sized shuttle was right beside her drawing her in.

At the normal sized helm were her men, each of them working together to control the computer on board. All Tania could say when she got inside was.

"How!?" As she lay on the floor with adrenaline pulsing through her body and her ears thundering with the concussion of being blown out of Voyager.

Harry Kim was standing on top of the main console.

"We had a shuttle beamed out of storage when we saw the explosion. We used the force field on the shuttle here to keep you from getting hurt." He was quite proud of the group effort. Several men had worked on the problem at once. If they HADN'T been there...

Tania got to her knees and looked out the forward screen. "We've got to do something!" She demanded. Voyager wasn't doing much good against the three Borg ships.

"Perhaps we can buy them some time. This shuttle has a food replicator, we can create some weapons." Harry and the other men began working again and the replicator was making old fashion bombs. Or spatial charges. They could be launched out the air lock and directed with the small tractor beam on board the shuttle. They weren't much more than a bee to a dog, but the dog might slow down if it gets stung by the bee enough.

"At least it might even the odds. But if they fire on us... " Tania began.

"Looks like they're too busy!" One of the guys yelled.

  He was gung ho too.

They began hurling the bombs as fast as the replicator would make them. The ships jumped to warp for a moment, the shuttle followed. One of the spheres was vulnerable because it had it's tactical computers concentrating on Voyager as it's only enemy. It took several bombs right through it's shields and blew a nice big hole in the control center. The sphere began to roll off to the side and violently went back below warp speed with a flash of concussion.

The other sphere got out of line to fight the shuttle.

The cube wouldn't leave Voyager alone. A large energy burst went right through the engine nacelle and both ships dropped out of warp.

Tania wasn't any good at piloting the shuttle, so she let the men do it, but she was good at computers so she helped keep their signature fluctuated so that the Borg had difficulty locking onto their shuttle. The Borg didn't know how many people they were combating aboard the tiny ship. Harry Kim flew them around the other stalled sphere and the chase sphere couldn't fire without hitting their own ship.

But they kept firing anyway further damaging the stalled sphere.

They didn't know how long they could keep up their speed and luck though.
