"AH, THERE YOU ARE."

Charlie gasped; he looked up to see the towering form of his pursuer. Her legs stretched higher than the barn itself and were set wide apart, one on each side of the building. Laura's toned thighs were solid pillars that stretched upward into the flimsy skirt that barely covered everything it was supposed to; the wind blew and the frayed edge of it fluttered an extra foot up her thigh. Her hands were on her hips as her flat stomach tensed slightly with each breath that raised her bare breasts up and down over the strong muscles of her chest. Her erect nipples sent a sharp shadow downward as the sun shined upon her, lighting her glistening body in it's growing heat. She had a wide and open smile on her face as she glared down upon him from so high above. Charlie could swear he saw the frail form of a disheveled human being clinging to the auburn mane of hair that waved lightly about her head.

"THERE'S NO ESCAPE FOR YOU NOW LITTLE MAN." The high cheekbones of Laura's face flashed as her smile grew broader.

Charlie scooted away, pushing against the ground with his one good ankle. His back soon hit a cracked wall and he found himself trapped in one of the corners. Hay was piled around him and it tickled his nostrils as he breathed heavily with a fluttering heart.

Laura began to reach for him. Her back arched slightly as she bent over. Her right hand left her hip and stretched towards Charlie's quivering body. The wide U-shape formed by the thick bones of her lower ribcage pushed outward as her stomach hardened; the muscles working to hold the impressive weight above.

Her hand moved closer. The skin of her palm and fingers was smooth and unmarred, pink and giant. Laura's breasts rolled forward as gravity began to pull them away from her body. The wide circle of their darkened tips was pert and hardened, Charlie could see the individual bumps that covered the rough aureoles. He could smell the overwhelming scent of her sweat; it had a sweet and overpowering sense of strength and it surrounded him.

Her hand still moved closer ever so slowly. Charlie began to think back about his wasted life, his only purpose to torment those outside his small group and to pay for his share of the weed and brew. The sunlight reflected off Laura's fingernails as she curled them slightly. Her wide brown eyes, pools of dark-night lake waters, gleamed with malicious intent as her smile still beamed down upon him. He felt himself begin to cry; her sharp features, her thin nose, the narrow line of her collar bone, began to blur with the welling tears.

Darkness fell over him as her hand blocked out the sun. It quickly began to block out everything else as it grew bigger and bigger with it's closing proximity. Charlie could hear the echo of his shallow breathing bouncing back towards him off of the monster that was so much larger than he was; so much stronger.

Soon, it encompassed his whole world and he felt his head spin as he lapsed into unconsciousness with one final scream.

  "NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

"But Wilbur, why didn't we stay hidden over at your store? There's more room to duck around in ain't there?"

"Shut yer yap Earl!" Wilbur peeked around the corner of the burnt out gas station to see if the coast was clear. "That's the first place she'll look for us you dolt! We gotta go where she wouldn't think to look for us."

  "Why, that's brilliant Wilbur."

"That's right," he frowned," besides, I don't like the way Burt was lookin' at us when we passed the water tower. That old bastard, he never has any good movies playin'."

"I think that new Star Wars movie was pretty good, Wilbur."

"It was crap! Now shut up!"

Wilbur pushed a large box out of his way; the metal lining of it was scorched and blackened. There was an acrid smell of smoldering decay about the place; but there was also a number of good places to hide oneself away until it was dark. They could make a good escape then; he hoped.

Of course, Earl was getting on in years. Wilbur thought he might slow him down with his advanced age. Maybe he didn't have to outrun Laura, he just had to outrun Earl.

Wilbur smiled and eyed a lead pipe lying on the ground. He stooped over to pick it up.

"Say Earl." His friend looked up with admiring eyes.

Earl had always liked Wilbur. He was the only one in town that had the patience to play checkers with him; and that was all he really wanted. That and a normal-sized Laura to clean up after him.

  "What is it Wilbur?"

"I was just thinkin' that we'd have a better chance out gettin' out of here if we split up."

  "How do you figure that?"

  "Just because, that's why!"

"Well, when you put it that way."

"That's a good boy Earl. Stay close though, I don't want to lose track of you."

  "Whatever you say Wilbur."

Wilbur watched intently as Earl picked his way across the debris-littered floor. He almost tripped over a fallen gas pump and then picked up one of the broken doors before scuttling into a corner. He draped the large glass and metal plane across his body and sneezed.

"Make sure you stay nice and quiet Earl. Stay quiet until dark."

  "You got it Wilbur."

Wilbur snickered and turned around to walk over to the cashier's booth.

"Like the town, the Tree turned off its embered smiles and slept. At two in the morning, the wind came back for more leaves." Burt closed his book and smiled before looking up. "So what did you think Lucy?"

  "Laura!"

  Burt frowned.

"That's what you think of my story?" He turned around startled, "oh, Laura!"

  "Hi there Burt."

Burt gazed up at the towering giantess, she had grown taller since he had last seen her and was still entranced with her incredible form. The cute roundness of her toes stretched a few feet before him; the finely trimmed nails shined a polished glow in the warm sun. He studied the bony outline of her feet; each one was longer than a new automobile and had a dark tan that followed up her thin ankles and the length of her toned legs that climbed up almost as high as the water tower. Little Lucy smiled as Laura's leather clad hips swayed gently back and forth at her level.

"Hi Laura. I'm sorry that I didn't hear you coming."

Laura cocked a thin eyebrow as she smiled. His voice was faint, but she could hear Burt clearly from his place far away at her feet. She wiggled her toes, feeling the loose sand beneath her soles. She let her thoughts drift to the events of the past few days. Back to when she was normal and underappreciated; back to when she was just barely as tall as the water tower. Now she rose above it's fifty feet height by a wide margin, almost doubling it's size.

"Gee Laura, it's good to see you again."

Laura began to kneel down. Burt watched as she spread her thighs apart slightly to give her the room her legs needed to fold in front of her. The town square was large and she took up a noticeable amount of that space. Her smooth knee touched the ground as she smiled as she was face to face with an ecstatic Lucy; Burt couldn't help but stare at her full breasts that shook lightly with the impact.

"It's good to see you too Lucy," she brushed a loose hair away from her face, "are you okay? Do you need anything?"

"I'm okay, Burt's been reading me one of his favorite books." Lucy frowned cutely, folding her little hands in front of her skirt, "no one else has come to visit me. I don't think they care."

"I know, I'm taking care of that right now." Laura nodded as she smiled; the light freckles that dotted her face folded as they were lost in her dimples. Lucy grinned again and clapped her hands.

  "Goody!"

"But you have to remember, there are nice people in this town," she waved downward, "like Burt here." Burt felt his face flush red at her compliments, he hadn't felt this light in a long time. "There are others but they might be afraid to come out to visit you."

  "Afraid of what?"

  "Afraid of me I'm afraid."

Lucy giggled at Laura's choice of words but quickly sobered, fearing she might of hurt her friend's feelings.

"But don't worry, things will be better for them soon. As for everyone else," Laura shrugged, " they're afraid of being civilized human beings." She smiled again. "And now their bad behavior is catching up with them."

"Damn straight! Oops, pardon my language."

Laura looked down at Burt and he felt himself go light again. Her thin physique was lean and extremely pleasing to look at, he could stare at her tanned face for hours.

"That reminds me Burt, I don't suppose you've seen Wilbur or Earl running around here have you?"

He smirked devilishly and pointed off into the distance.

"They went that way, towards the gas station."

Laura reached down slowly and Burt felt his old body tingle in nervous excitement. She wrapped her long fingers around his torso and began to lift him up effortlessly. Her delicate grip tickled his stomach as she held him in her warm hand. She brought him to her plush lips that were the color of pink grapefruit and had the same sweet and tangy scent. He felt them brush against him, gently kissing his withered face and neck; his whiskers stood on end out of stark embarrassment.

"Thank you Burt." She looked at him with her huge and gorgeous blue eyes.

  "Aww, it was nothin'."

Laura set him down on top of the water tower next to Lucy who pinched him as he tumbled out of her comforting palm.

  "I'll be right back, okay?"

"All right. Thank you Laura, you're so beautiful."

"Thanks Lucy," she began to stand, turning as she went.

  "Hey Laura?"

  "Yes?"

"What's that by your ear? It looks like you have something tangled in your hair."

Laura rolled her eyes as she brought up a finger to bat the unconscious form that was tied to a few locks of her light brown hair. It swung back and forth under it's insignificant weight.

"That's just Greg. I'm saving him."

  "Saving him for what?"

"Lucy," she laughed as she started to walk away, "I'm saving him for last."
