My Excessively Hopeful Krycek Theory

Krycek is not dead. I repeat, Krycek is not dead. I have quite a few reasons for believing in this theory. It is similar to my Well-Manicured Man is not dead theory. If you haven't read that yet, I suggest you do, when you finish this fine gem of the English language.

Reason Number 1--He is an alien replicant

Why would Krycek be working with these alien replicants, who seem to have a very close knit social circle, if he weren't one of them? I mean, I know good ol' Alex has collaborated with quite a few alien types in the past, but couldn't that just be more evidence that maybe he is part alien. Somehow, I sincerely doubt that Krycek is dumb enough to believe that if he helped out the alien replacements or the aliens to take over the planet, that they would let him be the only human to live.

Reason Number 2--His buddies, like Knowle, used their alien replicant voodoo on him

He is collaborating with alien replicants. This we know, or think we know, since we never know anything on this show. We've seen some of their magic before. They have some weird whip/claw combo thing that beheads all characters on the show except Mulder and Reyes because apparently the aliens realize their heads are already in the clouds. Plus, these suckers have got some major health plan that permits them to rebuild. Wait, I could swear I saw Doggett rebuilding himself before....hmmm... Anyway, wouldn't it be feasable that they can repair people, since Jeremiah Smith was able to.

Reason Number 3--He's Krycek, the only cool bad guy left

Krycek has a very important job on this show, which is to be the only good/cool villain left. You have "killed" Cigarette Smoking Man, the Syndicate, Fowley, Blevins, who is left that doesn't suck? I mean, they even killed Spender, but I think that was more self-motivated because he sucked. Anyway, Krycek is the last cool bad guy left. Knowle Rohrer is kind of cool, but he's just like a Krycek clone. Seriously. Next time Knowle is on your television screen, look closely. He could be related to Krycek.

Reason Number 4--With Mulder gone, who is left to beat the crap out of?

Krycek has always been the punching bag of The X-Files. Mulder came in at a distant second. Since Duchovny has said his good-byes, who is left to get out Fight Club-like aggression on? Doggett? Yeah right. He's a Marine. I don't think so. He'll just beat the crap out of the other guy. Skinner? He was also a Marine, and one of the main beatER, not beatEE. Scully? She's soft and all boring and old now. Reyes? HA! Okay, she's just like too New Age-y and left wing to get beat up much. People would have to take pity on her flightiness. Krycek, we just can't do it without you!
