The Story so far..
Rock had been just another Welsh lad
living in a contented bliss until in 1974 he unearthed one of
his fathers Tom Jones records and with the first notes of Its
Not Unusual Rock had found his calling. Determined to follow
in Tom’s footsteps and become a star. Rock started his singing
career to locals but these were the days before disco and fast
upbeat songs were not in demand by them. So in 1976 he moved
operations to Cardiff the capital city. In spring of 1977 after
a period of supporting performances, one of the DJ’s fell
ill where Rock was working and he was drafted in as a replacement.
Rock had finally made it. That summer Rock met the adult movie
actor Mr Chico Pantolones from Puerto Rico who was on tour in
Wales and in 1978 Rock and Chico made their first movie together.
Which was followed by two sequels in the same year. When Chico
had to leave the country due to a tax problem, Rock went out
on his own and stared in several masterpieces. In the late winter
of 1979 Rock was involved in a car smash when he drove his Ford
Capri into a Rolls Royce belonging to Bobby Speed. This ended
Rocks career due to gaining a bad back from the crash.
Rock resumed Dj’ing in London this time. At the end of 1981
seeing the end of disco coming he gave it all up and moved back
to Wales. Where he met Stevie Splendour and together with Stylus
Skywalker open a dance studio. When Stevie left for Bristol in
the autumn of 1998, Rock soldered on with Stylus Skywalker in
the studio occasionally making guest appearances in Bristol.
He now has given up the dance studio to work for the groove permanently. |
