Well this story came to me in the middle of the night. I had been reading some other fics were Duo got amnesia but it didn’t please me much. SO I thought to write my own. It all came out very fast. My fingers knew what to write before I did. SO hmmmmm maybe divine intervention. I don’t know. I just hope you enjoy. And sorry about the lack of Wufie. I hadn’t even noticed he wasn’t in the story till the end. I will give him his own fanfic later.

The Forgotten Duo

In a dark room, where even angels feared to tread, the sunlight was only now starting to seep though the tightly closed blinds.

And in the centre of this dark room lay a dark figure in dark pyjamas snuggling up to a dark duvet. His thoughts were starting to make some sense in this early mourning. *mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm fluffy warm pj’s. mmmmmmmmmmmm fluffy warm bed. Not gonna get up. nooooooooooooooooooooo not gonna get up.

While our warm snuggly dark figure was still entranced by these thoughts someone dared to enter the room. This someone feared nothing and certainly not a tired Duo Maxwell in the mourning. His name was Heero Yui.

"Duo wake up now."

"NO NO NO NO NO! And you can’t make me :P "

"Hn! Yes I can but I won’t. If you want to sleep in and miss your birthday I could care less. But the others, in particular Quatre wanted to take you to a concert for a surprise"

"Jeez Heero ever here of a SURPRISE. Hence you are not supposed to TELL me." He said this while sleep started to leave his eyes. Duo got up and started looking for something to wear. "Hmm lets see how bout black. Yes that will do nicely. By the way Heero, since you are already spoiling all my surprises just who am I going to see tonight."

"I believe they are taking you to see your favourite band Karma Sutre."

"Oh My God O My God Oh My God Oh My God, why didn’t you say this before. Had I known…Oh My God Oh My God Oh My God Oh My God. Will the lead singer Elise be there. OhMyGod OhMyGod OhMyGod yes yes, I can finally use all my stealth techniques to get us into back stage. Maybe she will jam with me. I have been working on my guitar. I can already play one of their songs. Well kinda, well I am working on it"

"Hn, well from what I have heard you need to work on it a lot more, or is it supposed to sound like that. I can’t tell the difference from your CD’s."

"YOU, HEERO YUI, have nooooooooooooooooo appreciation for good music."

"I suppose that is why Quatre and Trowa, who must nothing about music since they play instruments, are bringing along earphones and books to read."

*Sigh* it is your loss if you all don’t want to hear the best music since …since well their last CD."

"Believe what you like just be ready soon, we have to drive to the city."
*Flashing famous cocky smile* You just wait, I will be there with bells on my feet"

"There is no need for that just be ready"

"Egad I am living with and android."

The next mourning

" I can’t believe you brought your laptop WITH you to the most amazing concert in the history of the world. Then you JUMPED on STAGE and told THE Elise Haskell keep the music down, at a bloody concert." Doing a really bad Heero impression, Duo started to repeat Heero’s words. "Omae O Korosu if you don’t keep it down." I could of died of embarrassment, I mean REALLY. Why do I even bother to take you people out? I should have just stayed at home but noooooooooooooooooooooooooo….

"Will you keep it down I am receiving mission orders."

"That is all you can think of isn’t it Mission orders. Well fine then I guess I will just have to be serious for a moment, now wont I HA"

"You have never been serious, or quiet for that matter a day in you life. So just keep it down."

This monotone scorn from Heero for one reason or another affected Duo greatly. He practically glared at Heero and said in a VERY serious voice. "Heero, you don’t even know who I am. You don’t know anything about me. He immediately shut up and walked out to where Shinigami was waiting. He found out his mission and left with out one word. Though out the whole time Heero was at his desktop. He pretended not to even notice Duo was gone.
