Boomerang
First appearance: Tales to Astonish #81

A Major League baseball pitcher, Fred Myers was suspended when he was caught taking bribes and due to his impressive throwing skills he was hired by the Secret Empire, and outfitted to become an agent of theirs. With super-powered boomerangs in his employ, Myers code-named himself Boomerang and went on to become a high paid assassin. Encountering the Hulk and later Spider-Man, Boomerang faced defeat on numerous occasions until he teamed up with other criminal assassins Beetle, Rhino, Whiplash, Hydro-Man and the Speed Demon and formed the Sinister Syndicate.

Along with his fellow Syndicate teammates, Boomerang enjoyed criminal success and when Dr. Octopus joined the Syndicate, brief power over the nation of Belgrium. Boomerang stayed in the company of the Syndicate, bringing in his girlfriend, Leila Davis, as an assistent later. Leila, the widow of the criminal the Ringer went on to become the superhuman Hardshell, and had the falling out with Boomerang, ending with her departure with her ressurected husband. Boomerang later joined a new Masters of Evil after the disbanding of the Sinister Syndicate, and spent two stints in prison following that and a subquent break-out. Boomerang is currently released and in the employ of Hammerhead.

Powers and Abilities: Boomerang has average strength and intelligence, relying more on his arsenal of boomerangs including "Screamerangs", "Razorangs", "Shatterangs" and "Gluemerangs", and his suit which has flight abilities.
